COSACC

UNITING SONS BACK TO THEIR FATHERS

THE APPOINTMENT OF COUNCIL OF BISHOPS AND THE REVIEW AND RECOMMENDATION OF RESTRUCTURING OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE BODIES OF COSACC.

REVIEW OF THE PROBATIONAL PERIOD OF PROVINCIAL AND REGIONAL STRUCTURES OF COSACC.

As agreed in the commencement of the establishment of the Provincial Executive Structure of the organization, the probation period from April to July having ended, it was agreed in the previous National Executive Meetings that restructuring and reappointments of this governing Body be done to establish a Committee who will represent the organization on the tenure agreed upon by the National Executive.

As agreed upon and instructed by Cosacc Legal Advisor, Mr. G.P. Pretorius, such an undertaking was instituted by the sitting National President Bishop Dr. N.C. Zanni to realize this mandate. Upon corresponding with the current Provincial Executive Committee, recommendations came from the Committee not to hold election of prospective members into office because of the fact that most members do not know each other adequately to carry out such a vote (Names of Provincial Committee Members attached herewith.)

They unanimously agreed that I as a sitting President of Congress of South African Christian Churches, I should receive their recommendations and forward such to the Legal Advisor for implementation. The proposed appointment is viewed as a general approach to address the current imbalance and proper representation of Cosacc members especially among the nationals. The Provincial members feel that such a Committee would meet the requirements for inclusion of women ministers into the hierarchy of Cosacc leadership which has been lacking in the past.

Coupled with the fact that in the past months, we have experienced an influx of membership of people from every level of professionalism and the task before us is to channel such expertise in the advancement of the future administration of Cosacc. I am happy to report to this house that indeed God has blessed this organization with icons and Generals in the Kingdom of God

COUNCIL OF BISHOP

THE APOSTOLIC EPISCOPAL AUTHORITY OF COSACC.

As stipulated in the Constitution the Council of Bishops will be led by an Archbishop and will comprise of Apostolic Fathers in each Province where Cosacc is established. Their Challenge is to be Biblically based on the call of the emerging Church to Kingdom Purpose rather than to Traditions as we investigate the Truth of Scripture. To embrace the Preaching of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God and recognize that God has ordained this Movement to participate in the fulfillment of this cutting edge Prophecy of the end time. To prove that Pentecostalism is the empowerment of believers for to work and express the Kingdom of God on earth. Religious Tradition has rendered the Church in ineffective by limiting the work of the Gospel to denominational practices. We call upon the Church to a greater emancipation and reach every level of humanity with the Gospel of the Kingdom of God.

The Council of Bishops will be committed to assisting Member Churches which need Apostolic Counsel and Ministerial Training upon request. Fully understanding that almost 80% of Independent Pentecostal Churches in Africa are founded by ministers who have answered the call to ministry without adequate ministerial training, the Council of Bishops will therefore dedicate its efforts to Spiritual Fatherhood to such Churches. We believe that every Man and Woman of God that answers the call to ministry must the potential to grow into a greater minister of the Gospel. The Council will therefore offer training in Administration, Leadership Training, Ministerial Training and Church Growth Programs.

The Communities depend upon the leadership and foresightedness of the Ministers of the Gospel. The Council of Bishops is committed to assisting socially and develops disenfranchised individuals, believing that the 21 Century gives us the opportunity to re establish the true ministry of the Gospel of the Kingdom by meeting the needs of the community through love and community services. The Master said, “Whatsoever you do, to the list of my brothers, that you do unto me”. We strongly believe that as we go out and meet the needs of the community, many shall give their hearts to the Lord as they are touched by our actions of love.
